Show Notes
Today we discuss trades! ESPN's Transactions page is a must for this.
First up - the Thunder acquire Taj Gibson and Doug McDermott from the Bulls in exchange for Cameron Payne, Joffrey Lauvergne, and Anthony Morrow (and a 2nd round pick) - comparison engine link here.
Next - the Wizards acquire Bojan Bogdanovic and Chris McCullough from the Nets for Andrew Nicholson, Marcus Thornton, and a protected first round pick. Comparison engine link here.
Next, in a classic "Don't make deals with Masai" - the Raptors acquire P.J. Tucker for Jared Sullinger and a two-for-one coupon at Arby's (or two second round picks, whichever is greater). Comparison engine link here.
Next, the "process" takes an odd turn - The Mavericks acquire Nerlens Noel for a first-round pick, Justin Anderson, and Andrew Bogut. Comparison engine link here.
Some Rockets/Lakers trades. First, the Rockets acquire Lou Williams from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for Corey Brewer and a first-round pick. Comparison engine link here. I also wrote a post on this, and good news, Patrick, and Brian don't completely agree with my takes. Next, something else, it doesn't really matter, tune in if you want to hear about it!
Patrick and Brian revisit the DeMarcus Cousins/Omri Casspi for Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway, Buddy Hield and the Pelicans first and second round picks. āā
