Welcome to the Boxscores of the week! Every week I run down my picks of the five top boxscores of the week. For good measure, I also look at the bottom three. While production -- we use the Points Over Par metric -- does play a role in who I select, I also allow some subjectivity into my selection. With that in mind, here are our lists!

1. One of my personal favorites gets top spot on the list with the best game of the week. A double-double on amazing shooting and an otherwise solid boxscore works just fine. Admittedly it's against the only non-NBA team in the Western conference, but still, good game.
2. Westbrook puts up an amazing triple-double. We could even call it a 15 by 3. Cleveland isn't exactly the strongest competition, but still an MVP worthy performance.
3. I won't be surprised if there's a day when making ten threes doesn't get you on the list. For now though? With the most made threes in the week and the best net-points (total points made factoring in efficiency), Lillard easily makes the list.
4. Just short of a 20-20, but Anthony Davis does what Anthony Davis does and makes the list with the second strongest game of the week.
5. Shai makes the list with the top rookie performance of the week. Honestly, in a very strong rookie season, I was underwhelmed by this entry. That said, it was just good enough to make it. Rookies for next week though, I expect better!

1. Markieff Morris with the worst game of the week makes the list. Abysmal shooting, a pretty much empty boxscore otherwise and four turnovers? The Wizards have a lot of woes, and Markieff has been one of the primary ones for a while.
2. Josh Jackson had the worst scoring performance of the week. He took 21 shots and connected on 5! His assist to turnover ratio was pretty solid, so maybe if he'd passed more and shot less the game would have gone better.
3. D'Angelo Russell with the most turnovers (for a bad performance, more on that in a second) Despite a high volume of shots, his efficiency was quite poor too. It's impressive for how much good stuff he did, how bad this game was.
Names I thought extra hard about
James Harden had a 50 point game with 11 turnovers. I really was considering ditching the rookie spot all together for it. I was this close in fact, in hindsight I'll probably regret it.
Damyean Dotson had a very impressive game that helped the Knicks take out the Milwaukee Bucks. I actually realize that he's flown under my radar by being on an atrocious Knicks. Also, he would never make the list, but Mudiay also had a decent game the same night. What?
Donovan Mitchell had a pretty horrendous game missing 16 shots on the 2nd. Josh Jackson's more impressive shooting took the spot though.

* Reminder, the Points over Par metric is just the Wins Produced formula translated into point margin. The way to think of it is -- how many points would a team win (or lose) by with our player's performance if they played next to an average team against an average opponent.
