Welcome to the Boxscores of the week! Every week I run down my picks of the five top boxscores of the week. For good measure, I also look at the bottom three. While production -- we use the Points Over Par metric -- does play a role in who I select, I also allow some subjectivity into my selection. With that in mind, here are our lists!

1. Boban put up a top ten game of the week, but he did it in under 14 minutes! I was shocked he made top of the list, but I honestly had no choice.
2. Nikola Jokic put up a stellar game to help the Nuggets take down the Raptors. Jokic is arguably the best point guard in the league right now, as a seven footer! For Nuggets fans this was the start of our contender optimism before we lost two starters to injury in one week!
3. De'Aaron Fox puts up the best game of the week! Sophomore of the year! Love the 12-1 assist to turnover ratio to go with 12 made shots. He and Curry both place a little lower as their games came against the Cavs, while Boban and Jokic's are higher factoring in time and opponent.
4. Curry puts up the best scoring performance of the week. I'd have prefered 10 made threes, but I'll have to settle for 9.
5. DeAndre Jordan makes the list for a 20 rebound game. Would have liked a 20-20 but what can you do? Another reason Jordan makes this list is he's the reason the Mavs took down the Rockets. While Doncic had some late game heroics, he actually had a bad game. Sadly, he got more credit than Jordan, by mainstream attention. So I figured Jordan deserved a little extra attention for this game.

1. Trae Young with the worst game of the week takes top honors. I actually forwent a rookie on the main list this week, no one was good enough. So I'm happy with seven turnovers and five missed threes, Trae managed to guarantee a rookie a spot.
2. Kevin Durant makes ... the bad list? One of worst games of the week, and grading on a curve, this may be one of the worst games ever. A weirder thing is ... the Warriors still won!
3. Marc Gasol gets last spot for the worst scoring game of the week. A great player to round out a list of bad games by mainstream stars.
Leaderboard Update
Reminder, for no reason at all, I'm using MVP voting schemes for each week (5 points for 1st, 4 for second, etc. For the bad list it's -3, -2,-1) and at the end of the year, we'll have ... something? Here's how things sit. Minimum of two weeks on either list to count

A tight race but Curry stays in the lead! I'm shocked by how little playing time he's gotten that Boban is within striking distance of the top.
The bad list remains just a two horse race between Carmelo Anthony and Donovan Mitchell. I'll update that once we get to three competitors!

* Reminder, the Points over Par metric is just the Wins Produced formula translated into point margin. The way to think of it is -- how many points would a team win (or lose) by with our player's performance if they played next to an average team against an average opponent.
