Brandon Knight put up an impressive set of bad stats. He missed ten shots (on poor shooting), got five fouls, and five turnovers. The Suns have been a mess this season, and Knight is part of the reason. Shockingly the Suns only lost to the Thunder by four points this game, which is even more impressive given Knight's play.

Hate to burst any 76er fan bubbles, but Ish Smith will not be a major difference maker for this disfunctional franchise. He currently has the worst scoring performance of 2016 (factoring in both attempts and efficiency) To be fair, both the 76ers and Lakers had incentive to lose this game given the Lakers first round pick is at stake. Regardless, expect more ugly ball in Philly for the forseeable future.
DeAndre Jordan - Dec. 31st

The only twenty rebound game of the week makes the list. DeAndre also scored pretty efficiently. Heck, his one for two from the line is an improvement for the season. This game was a must as Chris Paul played far below his normal levels.

Rajon Rondo uses one of my favorite cheat codes for making this list: having the same number of points and assists. Rondo can usually do everything except score quite well. This game he managed to get the points while also being efficient. I won't lie, this game as a whole makes my favorite of the week.

There were four technical fouls handed out this game, including an ejection. Cousins got zero of them! In fact, Cousins was about as unlike himself as possible. He shot efficiently, didn't turn the ball over, and didn't foul. Heck, he even got along with George Karl, because George Karl got a technical!

Afflalo has the best scoring performance of 2016 so far! He also dished out two assists for good measure. On a team with Melo and Porzingis, it's impressive for Afflalo to show them how to score.

Jimmy Butler scored forty points in a half! Let that sink in. A Bull scoring well enough to put himself in the conversation with Michael Jordan (legitimately, efficiency matters!) is awesome. Jimmy Butler truly is the best shooting guard in the NBA.

Steph Curry made a strong push for his MVP campaign. Right before going out injured, he put up an absurd triple-double. Then, while injured, the Warriors lost their second game of the season. Here's my favorite part of this game, Curry took sixteen shots and thirteen were from three!

What a way to ring in the new year! This game was disapointing as Steph Curry left injured early on. That said, Draymond Green added another triple-double to his league leading resume! We keep saying that Draymond can do everything, and in a crucial overtime victory he did everything.
